Being that my motor is running like shit lately. Shu came over and helped me do a compression test last night. Waddaya think?
150 #1 145 #2 150 #3 120#1
Motor is a GSR with a large in charge amount of miles.

Its a bit low. On most of my GSR they were all 160+ and were all with in 5-10 of each other. Do a leakdown test.

Thanks Slava. Need a leak down tester or someone that has one.
#1 is quite a bit lower than it should be. Usually you only want 5-10 (10 being the max) psi difference.

Yes, you might have some issues with cylinder 1. Do what M@ suggested, a leakdown test will help narrow things down.
I didn't suggest the leakdown test, Slava did... I would have, but no point in repeating what's already been suggested. ;)

Those numbers seem really low. My GSR is 180 across the board.

I wouldn't worry about 2-4, #1 is the one in question. Leakdown would reveal some more info. Make sure you pull off the radiator cap and that its full of water so you can see if bubbles come out when doing the leakdown test.

you show #1 twice. just giving you a bad time. deff run a leak down. you could pull a wet compression test. as well

That is what I am wanting, but i need to shave and paint the bay before i do that, I also need all kinds of parts to do that as well. Since it is running like shit i am trying to determine if I need to rebuild the head or what else might be wrong so I can plan accordingly.

probably needs rings. Just like any other high mileage car. But do the leak-down test and listen for hissing sound.
