Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew how much it would be to insure a 2006 Evolution MR. The car would be under my moms name she has a good driving record and all that. just trying to get an idea of the yearly cost. thanks sean

a ton...that's why i didnt get one. I was even going to put it under my dads name too.

a family friends son wants one and he was quoted almost 4000/year. 16 year old new driver with an evo doesn't help either. depends on your driving record, if you're married, etc.

Damn thats crazy haha. $4k a year is way way too much! I'll have to have my mom call the insurance company to get a quote on how much it would be for her.

The quotes are free and take less than 5 minutes to do - and the insurance company could give you a more accurate quote than anyone could do on a forum. I'd say that's probably the wisest idea...

The highest premium I've ever seen was $42,000 every 6 months. I actually saw the premium on the underwriter's computer screen. lol

damn lol thats one crazy ass rate lol. are both STi's and Evo's around the same price to insure?
