Sorry in advance DaveL, but in all fairness...all the insurance companies have one of these types of sites.

Damn't Barb! :D
More than likely, he didn't read his policy and got pissed when his claim was denied. Then, it's easier for the insurance companies to just settle than keep the battle going.

If you guys ever do have a claim and have an issue come up, feel free to contact me. I'll be more than happy to help in any way I can.
I've been told by numerous body shops. Allstate is the biggest PITA when it comes to a claim.
A pain in the ass for a body shop, and a pain in the ass for the customer are two completely different things though. Allstate probably just has standards that most body shops don't agree with.

hey Barb, good thing you got out when you did, roumer has it that Amfam will be cutting their agents commissions by almost 50% in the next 18 months. i got that from a very reliable source. also heard they had a district meeting where of course all that info was denied to the agents, i wonder why?

That's the truth right there. Body shops always try to cornhole insurance companies. One accident, if a person where to walk in without insurance and say I just want my car fixed, the price would be nearly half of what they would charge an insurance company to fix the car...kind of stupid.

Insurance companies can take up to 2-3 months to pay, plus they ask for too much paperwork. When a person pays out of pocket, they get the money right now. Same things with doctor's offices....the patient pays one price out of pocket but if they bill the insurance company the price is usually double. It's a huge scam....I'm moving to Mexico and I'll make Tobi send me checks from America.
