WTB 88+ D-series Engine

I need one or two good d15 or d16 motors, I have an 89 hatch and my friends 90 4dr are both bad. I want good complete motors, I don't need intake or exhaust or distributors just basically long blocks are ok. Lower the mileage the better but as long as they run and don't smoke.

i have a d16y7 out of my bro's 91, we just pulled it cause the auto trans went out, he ran it for about a year, now he has a manual ls swap. it's already set up for ef's and has a header and new distributor, when i got it they said it had about 88,000 on it and the guy pulled it to do a swap. i was thinking $400

how bout a rebuilable d16a6? just smokes above 6000 rpm, strong too and complete, also in the Springs

I will let my friend know about the d16y7 but That is too much for the crap box I will be putting the motor in. As far as the smoker goes, That is what mine does.
