so im thinking about buying a car with a salvaged title? how does it work with the insurance companies? are the rates higher?

I had a salvage titled car for 7 years, went through a couple insurance companies and this was never the case. Ive never even been asked if the title is clean by an insurance company.

But as to the rates being different, no, and you should be able to have full coverage on it just like any other vehicle.

Try State Farm, Progressive, or USAA if you can. They will not care.
