View Full Version : What kindof batteries are you all runnin?

I may need a new one here sometime soon. I know that Honda likes those smallish batteries in the civics and ?integras?.

My old car had an Interstate Megatron battery in it, and that thing was AWESOME! I've also heard good things about the red top Optima batteries.

Any places to get decent prices on batteries?

i'm gonna need a new battery too soon i think.

car doesn't want to start up. I have to chrank it for about 5 or more seconds before it finally turns over by itself. I hope this is just a weak battery. I still have the oem honda battery that is over 3 years old. The indicator isnt't green anymore.

mine stopped being green after the first 6 months or so?! I don't use that as a trusy way to tell if it's got a full charge or not tho.

I have a red top optima also. I got mine for free since my uncle works for optima.;)

I've heard the life of the yellow top is less than the red ones. I want a yellow top to run my system for long periods of time.

Yeah, the life is a bit less, but it puts out more power and has more risistance to shaking which I needed. I am getting a Red Top after the rebuild.
