All you need is an OBD2 dizzy, alternator, injectors, ECU, and conversion harness... http://www.boomslang.us/obd2to1.htm
You should be able to get all that for fairly cheap. I doubt you'll find anyone wanting to trade you for an OBD2 ls swap.

i already have the obd2 to obd1 ecu conversion harness or do i need the obd1 to obd2 conversion harness?. so i just use my stock obd2 engine harness on the obd1 ls swap and get the needed obd2 parts (ie dizzy, alternator etc)?
Right. Or you could just run an OBD2a LS ecu ('96-99 Integra LS), and it will plug right in since your car is OBD2a.

i heard the same thing about using the obd2 harness on the obd1 swap but we tried connecting the harness to the swap and they just dont fit up together!
And actually, if I recall correctly, your alty/dizzy plug wont work. You need to find an SI/EX engine harness (if I recall correctly).

my stock harness is a ex. is that not the right one though!
Ah, okay.. that should work perfectly then.

He didn't know he only needs an OBD2 dizzy/alty/etc.
He don't I can wire obd2 plugs on the obd1 wire harness. But I guess he don't want that.
You can, but it takes longer than it's worth to just find the OBD2 components, IMO. He's on a budget, too.. so figured his best route was to find the OBD2 parts.

Yeah it could take longer but I am pretty sure I have a obd2 harness and obd1 in the basement. It would be alot cheaper going my route to. Do you mean it will take longer to wire up? Or do you mean take longer to find the parts?

No I thought xxxd-manxxx was being sarcastic. lol. I like helicoils, I figure if they can hold headstuds, they can hold about anything. :)
Never tried using one for a headstud. Cool, though.
