What phone do I buy?

I need an ATT or unlocked phone. I currently have a Cingular 2125 but it's time to upgrade. I like to browse the web, sms, and most importantly call people.

I hate checking voicemail so the read out on the iphones is cool but the iphone is more than I want to spend. I don't need anything super fancy, more business phone like. I want to be able to keep a neat calendar in it.

What do you recommend?
