Hello all. I am setting up a PS2 for work, and it is not connecting to the game server. With the network disk, it connects to DHCP just fine, and says all settings are just fine.
But it won't connect to the game server when its plugged in to just the modem (Comcast), let alone everything else. I have the settings with everything auto, it should get an addy and everything else just fine. Anthing special I have to do? I don't think I have to enter a username and password (comcast is a always on connection, and doesn't need the information entered into it like Qwest pppoe). And yes, everything else is online just fine when using the router (Dlink), and I've rebooted all network equipment numerous times.
I've brought it home, and will try other games (client had one game only). Any advice? The PS2 is one of those slim new silver ones.
