What do you do if you get phished?

I've noticed a lot of people's myspace pages getting phished lately. At least I think that's the term. Where they'll post some stupid bulletin, or leave you a comment with a link to porn. This happened to Aracheon's page today for example.

Anyway, what do you do to clear that up? Just change your password?

Yup, just change your PW and you should be good to go.

yep. phished is social engineering is all. It's like if i came up to you and said "hey stu, i'm with the HOA and we need to inspect your house. Can i have a copy of your house key?" When you realize you've been compromised, changing the locks makes the old key useless, same as with virtual locks/keys (username/passwords)

Make sure you dont allow anyone to post vids or pics onto your comments that arent hosted from photobucket. I had my account phished like 2 years ago and it was due to the video someone posted, made it so you have to approve all pic/vid comments on yoru page
