I actually drive very well thank you. I got in one accident that wasn't my fault (does that make ME a bad driver? Now think really hard...) and my other accident involved me spinning out on the highway. So, I know plenty of people that have spun out before and not hit anything therefore they get away with it and can forget about it. Well, I wasn't that lucky and I really don't think that is a fair indicator of my driving abilities.

IMO it wasn't actually put together very well at all............it was all last minute and the final time for meeting wasn't set till the day before..........most people need to know in advance so they can get off work or arrange their schedule.

It really wasn't put together that well! I checked the bored on Saturday morning and early afternoon to see what time, where and what to wear and no one had said a thing!!!! But regardless i think i can still get them to pose on my car or another car since mine pretty much looks stock. BTW The driver was driving a 92 Talon TSi AWD(Auto).
So i need the time and date to see if i can get it. If not id still like to show up and support it.

I think this failed for a lot of reasons. A big lack in organization, and WAY WAY to many rules and stipulations for what girls can go and who cant...who’s pretty and who’s not... boobs or no....nude or not..... etc....etc.
I personally know several girls didn’t go because they were discouraged after reading the 25 f**king pages of rules and meeting notes and who can go and who cant.

I recommend you start over from ground zero.
Set up rules of who can go, girls with cars? Girls that love racing but currently don’t own cars? Any age limits? What kind of clothing? What kind of photos? Who’s taking the pictures? Any money need to be brought? No girl wants to come to some park and ride off some interstate highway to meet up with a bunch of dudes that brought their Kodak disposable cameras and really have no idea where to go for pictures. (no offense)

Get EVERY questions answered from everyone involved, THEN plan on a date / time / location.

BTW.. if you aren’t going to include ALL girls on high altitude imports, then change the name from “Ladies of High Altitude” to something like “Some of the ladies, that like racing, and own their own cars, some their parents bought, some are pretty some aren’t, some race, some chase .. of high altitude”

I think all the ladies on here should be welcome to join, regardless of what the other girls think. What would happen if I wrecked my supra, and I don’t own it anymore, does that mean I can not be included in what you guys do on here? THINK ABOUT IT.
Its not fair to not include someone because of circumstances you have no idea about, nor even fathomed the thought of even asking. Girls of high altitude imports means exactly that…. so leave it at that.

I agree that our planning sucked, and I definately take some blame for that.

let's start from ground zero then.

I'll be taking a majority of the pictures, and not with a cardboard camera. I'll be using my digital and my regular camera and equipment which wasn't cheap ($2k+ for camera and all my equipment, not including digital), and photography is what I went to school for. Also, my friend Rob is going to help, who's a photo-journalist.

Here's my idea. Who is willing to take care of the planning on this? It probably would get done better if the ladies work together on this...

First of all you dont even know her, second of all i barely know her. What makes you think that she didnt pay for her car. You can find those for under $3000. Actually ive only ever met one chick that happens to rival my knowledge of working on cars. I know that there are a few people that have done tons more work and know alot more stuff that i do but i dont think there are many. Im a mechanic as a living and i do it as a hobby. The chick that i know has one of the baddest DSMs in the springs, and one of the best handling around(its an autocross car)
So in the end unless you know her or anyone for that matter you cant say shit about them. Would you want me to assume that your just some slut running around with a ricer honda that someone else made and you just bought it like that. Probably not.

I agree with everything you said. And if you were referring to me about the last post I replied to, the girls I was referring to were not even a part of HAI. And not to mention they are under 18... isn't there some sort of a law against taking pics of under age girls?? I never said any girl that is a part of HAI SHOULDN'T be able to do it. I think the more girls that are interested in cars the better but I think there should be rules and limitations as far as age, and if it is 'Girls of HAI' they should be members.

You're joking right? No there's no law about that. You're thinking about taking nude pics, and the last time I checked, you weren't taking nude pics and neither was anyone else.

Also, no one ever said anything about any look requirements except the girls you were curious about being in it. Let me refrase that, no one said anything about looks except all the insecure girls who were worried about their looks. I realize what impressions are layed upon the populis by society, but no one (and I know because I read all 25+ pages) said anything about a "Flawless-Absolutely-Beautiful-Girls of HAI calender."

I realize what impressions are layed upon the populis by society, but no one (and I know because I read all 25+ pages) said anything about a "Flawless-Absolutely-Beautiful-Girls of HAI calender."

No I am not joking, I would worry that something could happen having under age girls. JUST MY OPNION.

And I am NOT insecure, by any means, I just made a comment about the fact when we original started this it was going to be tasteful and not about nudity. Its just something I don't agree with. I doubt that makes me insecure. As girls started posting their pics and a lot of them had professional model pictures, something I didn't have. I simply asked if thats what everyone was looking for because the only pics I have are me racing or me with my car, because thats what I spend my spare time doing.

I already made a decision that I will not be a part of the calendar for the simple fact that something fun turned into drama. I think I will stick to racing my car rather than trying to look pretty next to it.

I really thought this would be a cool event where people could get together. Its turned into a disaster nolimit....LOL. I'm sorry that it came to this but maybe if ya'll waited til the spring and you would have a better idea of what you want by then. Like I had said in earlier posts, I have made calendars before. This is not a difficult process but everyone is making harder than it really is.
The crap on here about NOT doing nude pics was decided a long time ago, SO GET OVER IT! I don't remember reading anywhere a girl said she wanted to post nude, i think thats someone sulking in their own insecurities, jeeeeeeezzzzzz.
We aren't the ones who make the stipulations of what and how it should go. We simply made suggestions, but that doesnt mean that that was the decision made.
Lsvtec, if you feel sooo strongly about it should be the girls of HAI then COOL! Thats your opinion not how its going to go. I'm sure that if nolimit had this done and the criteria setup you probably still would have found something wrong. Just like you did with my pics. FOR SOME ODD REASON, you are under the assumption that my pics were nude?!?!!?!? If no one can remember you can check on thread 12, I don't think they are nude. Plus the fact, I am not model material..... I am only 5'2 and I am not a chesty person at all! The pics...... professionally taken? Yes, but not model pictures.
This thing has got a little out of hand, but lets not blame HAI, they were nice enough to come up with this idea and let all of us girls in the calendar. Maybe better luck next time........

1. I think that everybody needs to stop getting mad and frustrated with eachother. And I think LS has some good points about the topic.

2. This is a calendar for girls that are into racing and know about cars and enjoy going to Bandimere for THE CARS not just the GUYS htat OWN the cars.

3. This is NOT going to be a nude calendar! Sorry Boys ;)

4. You dont have to own some bad ass car to participate. Personally I dont have a car right now but I am very much into the racing scene and I know my shit.

5. None one said the girls had to be supermodels to do this! It is for the girls that are on HAI and have a passion for cars!

Okay so there is my .02 I am willing to take charge and set this up. I think the girls should figure out what we want to wear and everything like that. If you have any questions to ask me send me a pm.
Guys that want to volunteer their cars that would be great.
Lets all be cool about this there doesnt need to be any hating :)

I think everyone needs to chill. It is not any one persons fault that drama got started, it was THE PLANNING!!!!! No blame needs to be put on LSVTEC or any other lady on here. There was never a statment that said you had to have a car! That is why there was a bio. everyone was supposed to do that said why you should be in the calender, it also said ladies of HAI, not ladies with cars! It is ladies who enjoy racing and like cars which you dont have to have a car to do either of those things, but having a car is graet too!!!!!

Girls that take a picture next to a car are called models... when you open a magazine u see girls model clothes, doesn't mean they themselves actually designed it. A woman activist huh? Ok... I think this is starting to go WAY overboard, like drowning, and it really should STOP. I understand what models are, the point is that we were going to do something different and have girls that race. ENOUGH SAID. I think its fine if you all want to continue with the plans of the calendar, and be naked in it if you want! I DON'T CARE. Its just something that I don't want to be a part of.
