Thanks guys for the warm welcome! For the RX-7 nothing really special has been done to the car, lets see... i rebuilt the engine with atkins rotary 2 piece apex seals, replaced the fuel pump, replaced the ignition, nology hot wires, better maf sensor, new ecu, short shift kit, tail lights from a japanese efini, and soon to have a bomex body kit. if i had a ton of money it would be a sweet car, i'd probably have it shipped to japan and have mr re amemiya hook it up. but alas, i haven't won the lottery yet.
my 300zx is still a work in progress, when i bought the car it was the biggest piece on the outside, lots of rust and dents, winshield is cracked and the passenger side mirror is non exsistent. Why would i want this thing?? The interior was in awesome condition and the engine runs strong for having 100K+ miles on it. the guy who sold it to me for $300 didn't take care of it at all. it seems like every time i go to do anything on the car, there's a part missing or focked up. soooo, i did a few little things to it for the time being, put on an apc muffler (i'm not a big fan of apc stuff, but hey, i needed a muffler and it was only $20), k&n air filter, new wires and plugs. besides changing the oil and flushing out the cooling sys and some other small things, i really haven't put a whole lot of money into the car. i'd really like to strip it clean and have it dipped to prevent any more corrosion, but i haven't checked the prices on that yet. i'd like to do some other mods to it, but i'm still working on the rx7.
pics pics pics, my a:\ drive is dead so i have to find the software that goes with my digital camera. i'll have to take a pic of the 7 and 300zx sitting side by side, it's kinda funny how similar they are. sorry, no nakey pics boys :).
