Basically a new company developed a safe kind of ink that for all means is permanent, but has the added bonus that it can be removed easily and completely, with a single laser treatment (current tattoos and lasers take like 7 treatments).

I think this is pretty cool, and an awesome idea. If this product really works the way it says it does, this company is going to make millions. They can basically turn a tattoo into something that's more like fashion.

I'm sure there are some die hard tattoo people who think this 'cheapens' the idea of having a tattoo. But I for one think it's pretty slick. I might even consider getting one now.

What is the longevity and integrity of the tat I wonder. If it still looks good after 10 or 20 years they will be rich from the idea. Yet another blow to the concept of commitment in America. :(

Didn't you get a new tat tobi?

I can't decide on something I really like, so I don't know if I'll ever get one

Same here. Just curious to read about it. If its considerably more money for this special ink, i wouldnt consider it. If i were to change my mind on my back as of now in its current state, id be screwed anyway.

Why the fuck would you get a tattoo if you're not committed to what you choose to have inked on yourself?

Morons.

The double dragons I have on my upper right arm is a design I drew back in the 6th grade, and I stared at it from the day I finished it to the day I had it put on 2 years after I graduated high school.

well, you can draw. I can't.

if i could draw better i could see it like you.

i have to rely on someone elses depiction of my artwork.

lets say i have something in mind, i let this guy do it and it's nothing like i wanted it.

so now i can have it lasered off and try another guy maybe.

just another thought, i have a freind who had a great idea but looks like shit the way the guy did it.

he's stuck.

They put the tattoo on like a temporary tattoo before they actually ink you. You check the size, location, design, etc before they permanetly ink you. So if the artists does a shitty job of interpreting your artwork, then go somewhere else.
