Na, but for real I bust sicker shit on the weekends when I am drunk at the clubs. That explains why you are an instructor and not a dancer.
Hmmmm... better than I can do for sure, but I agree with the chair thing as mentioned before. I thought the same thing. Seems like you're dancing more with your hands than you are your feet. I'll vote for you though.
Oh, and it looks like you're beating off at the very start of the video.
When you get on the floor I expect to see some good breaking and then it's like you slow down, sit on your ass, and get back up without doing anything.
You should fix that, nix the chair, and fix your pantleg, kids in the ghetto did that years ago. Or, you can complete the look by taking one arm out of your shirt.
Oh, and throw in some Soulja Boy. :) Superman that hoe.

And ive been dancing for 9 1/2 years, up untill about a year ago when i picked up Hip Hop, breakdancing was my thing, ive been slowly expanding since then.

Well if you showed something on the floor instead of sitting down you would probably raise your perceived overall ability.
Honest criticism. Some people will get roles just because they can spin, that is what people want to see, that's when they say ohhhhhhhh. If you just sit on the floor when you get down people won't like that.
You don't show any more skill then thousands of other people that have turf dance, gig, and break videos online and by not showcasing a talent to its fullest you are killing yourself.

I didn't see any popin or lockin in that vid what so ever, maybe some tuts and ballet. If you didn't come on here in the first place bashing hondas all day everyday I might have considered kicking you a vote.. but in this case. I think ill save my click...

Ive said it a million times before, it was a joke, but whatever...
Tuts, boxing, locking, ect... it all falls under the genre of popping and locking.
No ballet tho... if there was some in there it was purely by coincidence.

Your pace slows down in the middle of both break sections, makes it look like your resting. Slow the hands down at some point, it looks like your doing the same thing over and over and over.............................................

yeah... i noticed that after i watched it, its too late to fix it tho, once its entered they wont take another entry...
As far as the breakin slowin down, i was tryin to match the tempo of the beat in some areas.

If dancing is such a big part of your life, and something that you work so hard at, wouldn't you rather be honest with yourself and get into the movie because your skills are good enough, not because you ask a bunch of people online that you sort of know to vote for you?
Would you really be happy with yourself just for getting into the movie? Or do you care if you actually deserve it or not?
As soon as voting opens, I'll watch some videos, and after I see the others, I'll vote for which I think are the best. If your's is one of them, I'll vote for it, if it's not, I won't. I'm not going to vote for you simply because you are begging for votes. Doing that just kind of cheapens the contest and the movie.
IMO you should of made this thread just letting people know there is a contest, and showing people your video, but not asking them to vote for you. Give people the information, and let them make up their own mind.

meh... this sucks, they have revealed that the judges start evaluating the videos today and they will post the 20 finalists on Aug 27th or 28th (cant remember which , ill figure it out and let yall know... then the public votes on one person to win the grand prize so imma need alot of votes lol...

judging by the fact that ive had over 1200 hits on the video and over 30 comments (all but 2 are good) my chances are pretty high of making it into the top 20 finalists... if/once i get to that stage the voting will begin, ill keep you guys updated and again please continue your support :)
