I wonder how many feet he was in the air! lol Probably a good 30-40 yards
You mean to tell me he was almost half a football field in the air? Not quite. lol. Maybe 20 feet or so.

I really wanna do some math because I think it is more like 30 yards or more.
He was in the air for about 2 whole seconds. How fast do they go 150 atleast?
EDIT: I can't think right now, but if you can do the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds that means each second you go 132 feet. I think a guess of 20 feet is a ton on the short side
And, you get to 60' in 2 seconds in a slow car from a stop. 20' is nothing.
OK, I'm looking at your posts and I'm wondering if nick is talking about length and M@lock is talking about height. I read Nick's comment as length.
I don't think he was saying length of track, I thought he was saying height.
I pronounce you both correct.
Nick asks how many feet in the air the guy gets, then guesses in yards. You're grounded Nick.
I just watched the video. I say the guy was a maximum of 15 feet in the air.

My guess was the distance, not vertical feet.....the verbage I used was incorrect. I had to type quick because I had a customer coming in

Why don't one of your physics nerds just calculate the height based on the amount of time from his highest point to when he hit the ground? You know, 9.8 m/s/s ... ;)
What we need is someone to take some measurements of the space between the bottom of the car and the top of the nearest car that is still on the ground. Those cars are only so long, and only so tall, shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. It'd be like using the key on a map.
I think camera angles can throw off height from other objects though. Like those nudes that are shot straight up from the floor, they look really tall.
Or David Blane. If you measured by other peoples shoe height you'd think he was levitating atleast 6 inches.
I say we all go watch some dudes making out with each other.
