87 accord rough idle battery light comes on during idle off n on when driveing?

my girlfriend just showed me a little issue with her car when in idle the car vibrates a little bit and the battery light comes on. It goes on and off when driving i asked if she had trouble starting the car she said yeah but not that often. I'm not really a car expert but I'd think adjust the idle and maybe her alternator is going out?

Carburated or Fuel injected?
Normally with those cars the alternator is going bad but charges just enough to turn the light off while driving. At idle the alternator does not spin fast enough to charge. I would start there, have the alternator checked for charge capacity. If you want we can do that at our shop and give you a full charging/starting system diagnosis.
