The advice I'm going to give you is: don't include pictures, talk about mods or use an address in any posts you make about your car on any board. It's obvious that the thieves troll all the boards as if they were looking at a menu in a restaurant.

If you are already thinking that your choice may be 'questionable', look into a different car. At least put your car in the garage.

That said - get a good alarm system, a good watchdog and a gun you can shoot properly.

dont keep anything of value in the car, when thieves see something they want (CD's, Ipod, cell phones, wallets, etc) they are more determined to get it. Thieves will more than likely commit a crime when they think they can get away with it.

Be aware of your surroundings, turn on lights in your house to make it seem like you are home or still awake. If you see a vehicle that driving around the neighborhood, write down the license plate #, it might not be anything... BUT if something happens you at least can give the license plate to the local PD so they have a lead to work with. Sleep with a window open so if you do have an alarm, you have a better chance of hearing it go off.

try disabling it before bed, pull the ecu or dissconnect something vital underneath the hood. and set the alarm on hella senative

Do everything you possibly can to prevent it. Removable wheel, kill switches (yes, multiple), alarm, GPS, etc.

if they want your car bad enough they'll get it, but just use common sense and you should be ok.
