Laptop Hard Drive Crashed?

I usually only use my laptop when I travel and about 10 days ago I think the hard drive crashed while I was in mexico. It wouldnt boot up and then bios said operating system cannot be found.

Did my hard drive crash?

I just remembered that this happened and havent even taken my laptop out of the case since then and I have a flight to LA tomorrow morning. Is there a place that rents out laptops around here?

I'm not too familiar with laptops, but I'm pretty sure hard drives are connected by some sort of cable. Crack it open and see if a cable came unplugged.

No cable, IDE HDD but looks like you were right, it must have come out .5mm and wasnt connecting. I took it out, put it back in and everything booted up fine with no lost data. That felt good :-)
