If you have not taken the safety class at Pueblo or do not have a race license or class certification from a Pueblo Motorsports Park approved list, you will need to take the safety class offered by Pueblo through Mark Schellinger (was joe but due to scheduling conflicts, Mark (MRA race instructor).

Contact Mark markschellinger@earthlink.net
Class starts at 10AM so please be situated and ready at that time. I would suggest not getting there any later than 9am due to setting up in the pit area and also getting through the gate since the track will be hot, you will only be able to get through at certain times.

I am going down with a group of people to drive and ride Pueblo Motorsports Park on Aug 16 and 17th, the 17th is purely a bike day only. Most of you have not completed a class to ride there, however, for 149.00 I do have an instructor available to teach class which will allow you to ride there on any open bike days. The price also includes the track day, class is 4 hours long and you can stay and ride the rest of the day.....

I will have painters tape for your headlights and tail lights if needed, probably good to disconnect them as well. Mirrors must be removed as well. Radiator must be flushed repeatedly to ensure no coolant is in there, should have water and water wetter in there.

I will have a friend out there that will be taking some pretty good picture shots of us out on the track. Also I will have my video camera on my bike if you want me to follow you and you can view it later to find out what your really doing out there.

Do we need to sign up for the class or just show up? Is everyone just riding down there or trailoring their bikes?

I would definitely suggest trailering or borrowing a pick up truck and putting the bike in there. There is nothing like waking up super early to get down there, riding all days like your A%% is on fire, then having to ride all the way home exhausted.

If you are sure you can make it, and need the class just let me know and I'm putting the list together. However, just make sure you can make it there or else I will probably have to come a bit out of pocket myself. We aren't looking for a big class, just a few friends that need the safety class so they can ride out there.

Awesome man, will see you down there. If your trailering the bike, i can get you phone numbers of others coming down Friday so you can all caravan down together in a group if you want. Let me know. I'll put you on the list, let me know ASAP if your friend comes for the class too. The instructor likes small groups so if the group continues to grow, he will bring other instructors that day with him.

Too much work, just draining the radiator and putting tape over the headlights? Hahaha, you probably spend more time getting ready to take some female out without even getting any ass!!!! :)

If it's over the weekend, they have an MRA race going so you'll probably have to just leave a message. Or just e-mail him your contact info. Hope you can make it man!!!! It's going to be fun out there, but just as fun while we are off track as well.

Just an FYI, for the couple of fellas on this board that are going, my buddy Joe (Steazy) will be out there taking high quality pics. If your interested in having your pics from the track, I will be rounding up $10.00 from each person while we are at the track and getting your email/contact info so that he can get the pics to you.....
