Ok, two days ago my tacometer starts jerking and so does the car, then my car dies. I put in a new ignition coil it ran perfectly fine for over 50 miles. I get home and decide to clean things up a bit in the bay and I remove plug wires and reinstall in the correct order and location but the thing is, i also plugged in my ABS which had been unplugged since it originally broke down. Withing SECONDS of start up my tac jumps a few rpm, drops to zero and my car dies. What in the world is wrong with my car?! Below are a few pictures of the stuff I am working with. Why did it do this to begin with, why did the ingiiton coil fix all, why did plugging the ABS back in just "happen" to be followed by my car dying, and what do I need to do?

^the old one that came off when the car first died is shown in the rear of the photo, and the one that I put in to get it running is the one in the foreground.

^ "new" one that came with the distributor I took the "new" coild from.

^ the one that is currently on the distributor and was on both the first and second time my car died.
I appreciate any help anyone can give me. I need my car back soon and right now ive got no more options to try. Thanks HAI!

you might want to check your ignition module and not your coil

The link to the test above tests the ignition module and coil. So far I have used that test nearly 1000 times and it has yet to fail me.

I had a simular problem and ended up buying a new distributor. I would replace both the coil and ICM run and the dizzy would blow the coil everytime. A new one cured the issue.
