So my 92 GS-R is leaking power steering fluid pretty bad. I have already found out the return hose is causing all the leaks but being, i had NO power steering in my civic, i wouldn't mind getting rid of the PS on this one too.
Anyways i was wondering how you would go about converting it to manual power steering. I figure i could just replace the rack with that of a manual steering rack right? If i do have to replace the rack, what rack could i use? i figured all integras came with power steering standard. . . . so im kind of at a lose here

ya i was thinking one off an earlier civic might work but i donno, if there are integras out there with manual steering ill probably just snag one of those racks.

Here you go, P/S removal thread (http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88673&highlight=manual+steering+rack). You have a couple of options: either keep the existing power steering rack and loop the lines, or you can swap a manual rack in from a Civic/Crx, 88-91 generation. I picked up a manual rack from a 90 DX, I believe, and it bolted right up. Don't forget the alignment as well. I've had mine installed for a couple of years now, it works great, I would say I have better feel for the road, if you will. Also Quaife makes a gearset for the civic racks too.
