Last week my wife was driving the passport and the dash lights went out. I checked the fuse and it was blown. (15amp) No illumination or marker lights. Put a new one in and it popped right away. Tried this with a 15, 20, 25, 30 all popped right away. Pulled my dash apart I have some ricer glow gauges installed I cut the power to them and it still popped when I turned the lights on. I also noticed that the Parking light fuse for my alarm was popped as well. I put a new one in and the damn thing popped when I set the alarm.

I have had all these items installed on the Truck for years now with no problems. The only thing I have changed is I added a Pioneer Sirius tunner and a pioneer ipod connection to my deck. They all three have the same power source but that should be tied to the Radio fuse, Unless the Deck being hooked to the Illumination wire is doing something to the other fuse I am lost.

sound like you have a positive that might be grounding to metal so you might have to find it

if you wired in the radio yourself..you might want to go back in there and check the radio illumination wires.. sounds like you have it crossed with the wrong wire ,or left out and it's touching ground in the dash..
