Front drive shaft issues, keep braking them!
96 Grand Cherokee, 5.2L V8, Stock everything.
The front control arms have the adjustable bushing thing to adjust the alignment, and all the bushings on the axle have been replaced with polyurathane.
Last year, the front axle cv apparently over extended under load, and it puked all the steel bearings out of the cv right threw the cv boot.
Thought it was just a bad drivshaft, and replaced it.
This weekend it almost did the same thing, but luckily after it bound up a couple times, it went back together and only dented the cv boot cover and didnt puke everything.
Why is this happening on a stock suspension?
Should I adjust the driveshaft just a littl longer? What should I check on the suspension or look for that would cause that?
