The first mount I had fabbed up was stationary and welded in such a way that it was not adjustable unless I unbolted it from the bike and stuck it in a vice. I decided that I needed something that I could maneuver around if I had to, as well as something that was easier to detach.

Clean work.
Thanks man. The welds look like shit, but I was in a hurry. I'll grind them down today with a dremel to clean 'em up.
nice idea Chris...
Actually, the idea was copied from sportbikecam.com. They want $90.00 for a multi-piece aluminum mount that adjusts very similarly to how this one does - only much more sophisticated looking and it's lighter. I really don't care how it looks, as long as it works.

I expect that if I get that launch down to a 1.8, I'll have that bike cracking a high 11 the way she sits. I've got a really slow spot in 2nd gear too... so I'm curious to see if I can't run a mid 11 with a Power Commander.

I actually have a good design for a peg-mounted one. But it's just not practical for seeing what's in front of you because it has to stick out so far. I hadn't considered using it for a rear-facing application. If you can get me the rear footpeg and the accompanying bolts for the side you want to use it on, I bet I could fab up something for you. Ultimately I'll need to see the bike for testing purposes and what not, but I could do most of the initial design with just the peg bracket assembly.

Well, like Jay pointed out on CSC, I have alot of work to do when it comes to nailing corners. My entry lines are pretty inconsistent - due largely in part to what I believe is not looking far enough ahead, and with Jay's observation, I'm not going quite fast enough either. But then again... I'm not running a marathon. :D
hmm i need somthing like that for a secret project i want to tape have to have clear view of the bike in front. and keep up with it down the road i'll be riding.

No problem, I will get this to you after this next weekend.

Haha, I think you mistook some of what I was saying, again, just take it with a grain of salt, I am by no means any sort of expert. Not that you were not going fast enough, it's just harder to hold a consistent line without corrections going slower. When you go fast, your forced to follow a line and stay consistent / smooth.
