I'm posting this because i am working on trying to move the wires around for the wiring harness to work with my stand alone ECU. A majority of the wires i have been able to figure out, however there are a couple that confuse me. SO - with that said, let me show you what i have to work with:

Haltech E6GM - stock plugs with wires moved to corresponding pin-out readings.

This is the pin-out readings for the haltech and what each pin represents.
small plug:
********
A1 - PUMP RELAY
B1 - N/C
A2 - N/C
B2 - N/C
A3 - N/C
B3 - CRANK SENSOR GND
A4 - N/C
B4 - N/C
A5 - N/C
B5 - CRANK SENSOR SIGNAL
A6 - +13.8V SWITCHED
B6 - N/C
A7 - TCC
B7 - N/C
A8 - N/C
B8 - A/C REQUEST SWITCH
A9 - N/C
B9 - N/C
A10 - ROAD SPEED
B10 - N/C
A11 - MAP+ATS GND
B11 - N/C
A12 - GND
B12 - N/C

big plug:
*******
C1 - THFAN CONTROL
D1 - GND
C2 - A/C CONTROL
D2 - TPS / CTS GND
C3 - IDLE 2
D3 - GND
C4 - IDLE 1
D4 - EST OUTPUT
C5 - IDLE 3
D5 - BYPASS CONTROL
C6 - IDLE 4
D6 - O2 SENSOR GND
C7 - 4TH GEAR (AUTO)
D7 - O2 SENSOR SIGNAL
C8 - N/C
D8 - N/C
C9 - N/C
D9 - N/C
C10 - COOLANT SIGNAL
D10 - GND
C11 - MAP SIGNAL
D11 - N/C
C12 - AIR TEMP SIGNAL
D12 - N/C
C13 - THROTTLE SIGNAL
D13 - N/C
C14 - +5V (MAP / TPS)
D14 - N/C
C15 - N/C
D15 - INJECTOR CONTROL 1
C16 - N/C
D16 - INJECTOR CONTROL 2

cross referencing the stock ECU diagram:

i guess more than one pair of eyes will make this a little better?

there are also other wires - that according to the stock wiring harness - one would think is a necessity, like the check engine light. these are listed as N/C on the diagram listed above, but will they still work in their stock locations?

did C15 to D16 without any problems. dark bluish black wire with yellow stripe, now directly below the red wire with the white stripe.

A2 to C2 - i understand, is for A/C. This appears to be the brown wire with the red stripe. That has been moved to C2. (who knows, maybe one day i'll put the A/C back in?)

now - the question i have is for the ground wire D3. D3 in the stock plug has a pink wire with a green stripe in it, and right above it in the stock wiring diagram, it says "temperature lever and fan control unit." It says 0.5P/G which means the gauge is 0.5 and the color is pink/green. it IS the temp lever/fan unit wire, but i do not see anything for this on the haltech wiring harness diagram for this function. Where do i put this pink/green wire in the plugs to work with the haltech? i see an option on C1 that says THFAN CONTROL. is this where i need to move the pink/green wire in D3 to? there's nothing in the C1 spot.

D10 ground won't be a problem, i just need to know what gauge wire to use, and if it's the black with blue stripe or just black, etc. Same thing with the ground that's going to go to D3. if anybody has that info it would be appreciated.

As far as i know, everything else goes into it's stock location unless you guys see something i don't.

If you can assist with this, great. If you need any assistance understanding this, let me know. If you don't know anything about wiring, i guess this would be an interesting start?

let me know if you guys can get a better grasp on this than what i have. any input is appreciated as well.

p.s. i'd try an Autronic, but i already have the haltech.
