Made the run up the Canyon to Peak-to-Peak highway, from there to Estes Park, and then back the way we came. The pace was pretty gentle as we were both wearing jeans and didn't want to be dragging knees.
And yes... I'm aware that there's bird shit on my windscreen. :(

Ah this makes me want a bike so bad. About the bird shit, that says to me "I don't even care because this is between me, my machine, and this road." The way it should be.

Excellent way of putting it. I actually finally got around to replacing the damn windscreen with a very darkly tinted one... so I'm going to have to come up with a different kind of camera mount before I can film another canyon run.
You kinda have a family tho... makes getting and riding a bike a little difficult when you have more things to worry about than I do.

This is true. I would like to get something for the few miles to work to save money on gas... I know I know, making excuses :) The wife says maybe I can get a Harley one of these days so she can ride along comfortably. Maybe I can get one if something comes along....

Don't need a harley to be comfy, my Vulcan is pretty cush and at half the price I certainly wont be complaining about much

I will have to check around, I would really like to have one of those v-twin crotch rockets. They sound like my dads old Hemi Cuda on the highway. I do think those jap cruisers are pretty cool looking though. They almost all look good if I go sit on one, I don't want to buy the first one we see.

Fun for me, not so fun for me and the wiffer. She saw me typing my last post, and said "your not gonna kill yourself on a motorcycle". Its hard to even begin to argue that. She also says I can't ride my fathers old bike I still have at my mothers, a highly modified Kawasaki KZ-1300 bored out to 1500. Its shaft drive, and inline six so there is no way with all of the weight its going to pull the wheel up, but its gonna be hard to hold onto. My pops had some guns on him, and he had a hard time hanging onto it. It sounds like an F1 car when its running so I'm sure when I start it one of these days its going to scare the crap out of her I'm sure...We will see. At least I get to have my turbocharged goodness:biggrin:
