We finally got together and took a bunch of pictures this weekend.
This is the 95 Talon TSi AWD i bought about 2 weeks ago. It has 54k miles on it, Power everything, 5 speed, Viscous Coupling, Rear LSD, Sunroof, Leather.

On the above pic notice the side of the bumper. Thats pretty much the only bad thing on it. It had a bra on for almost all of its life, and even though it lived in a garage at home and work it still got pretty yellow.. But when i get back in a month its gonna get fixed.
Heres a good clean engine.

As soon as i get back im ordering a turbo back exhaust, Center force clutch, Short throw, MBC, TT, install kit for B16g, and throw my B16g and evo mani on it. Then ill probably start saving to get all my fuel stuff done...660s, FPR, Pump, DSMLink.

I figured you wouldnt lead me to a lemon, but this car is great..I cant wait to get the mods on it so i can be quasi quick. Its so funny hearing peoples reactions when i tell them AWD...Theyre like holy crap that thing must be fast as hell..To them it is, but it feels slow exept the launch to me.
Thanks Alot Alex.

You really should reconsider the Centerforce clutch if you are gonna be drag racing it with any substantial power, they just don't handle repeated drag launches. I really recommend the ACT 2600,mine has held up to over 150 launches and still holds fine. I've read over on DSM talk that some people might see 50 launches with the Centerforce.

So far this year ive been to the drag strip 2 times and had about 7 runs total...I felt a 2600 on a 1g and i really dont want that heavy of a clutch on my daily driver. When i get another car for a daily driver then i might upgrade, but for now on my street car ill just have to stick with that one.
Im suppose to be going to Kosavo next year at this time and when i come back ill have around $15k cause i wont be able to spend anything for 6 months. So ill just pay off the Talon at that time and buy something reliable for a DD, and something that has absolutely no hopes of ever going fast so i dont start spending money on it;) . But after all that ill probably drop a little bit of money into my car.

How much can you soup those up? Doesn't a heavier clutch increase the potential for crank walk on the 2nd gens?

On RRE's website they list the differences on the clutches on a scale of 1-3. The ACT 2100 and centerforce are a 1 and the ACT 2600 is a 3. Id like to avoid crankwalk like the plague...

You don't even notice the heaviness after you've been driving it a couple hundred miles. Yes,it does feel stiff if you've been drivng mom's econobox Escort or the like for a while but the 2600's stiffness is a little exaggerated;geez, even my 4Runner w/automatic drivng 5'4" 45 year old mother drives my car with no complaint.

Im sure id get use to it, but the other reason is for the crankwalk phenomenon. Im sure i can run a 12 with the centerforce, and if it does go then ill upgrade then...But like i said ive only been to the track times this year...
BTW your 4Runner w/automatic drivng 5'4" 45 year old mother must be a bad ass woman:Beer: .

Actually she annoys me if she's driving my car with me in it,she short shifts it too much and only builds a few psi of boost and shifts,I think the turbo spools so fast it freaks her out. She hates it since people rev on her at every light and then she proceeds to not whoop ass.
