I blew a tbs.... Took it into the dealer and they called back saying its not covered. They said because of my intake giving to much air to my throttle? Can anyone give me some input or advice? I think its kinda cheezy.

I;v never herd that happen due to a CAI. Maybe when Tobi chimes in, he could give you a better answer. I, myself, didn't think it could ruin a TPS cause i thought the TPS was just a potentiometer that had nothing to do with vacuum.

Cuz the nissan dealership told me the cai is putting to much air into the throttle chamber, which caused the tps to blow. I think they are just saying it so they dont have to replace it.

I'm looking at this forum. And the people there are saying that nissan is saying the cai is fault cuz they dont wanna fix it. I mean anyone with common sense could tell you that the cai has nothign to do with the tps. F' in stealerships. I'm gonna put my stock intake back on and go to another dealership.

A throttle body will only take in as air as it can and intake just changes the flow make it a smoother flow or alowing a flow from a spot that will give it cooler air temps! they are giving you the "WE WANT YOUR MONEY SPEECH"!

Put the stock intake on there and see another dealership. What a crock. That idea about putting the stock one to see another dealership is the best idea I have heard all week.

no the cai would not cause the tps to go out so then that if had a custom intake on my turbo then my turbo would go out just not happening
