I've got an '01 Mitsu Montero my wife drives daily with just under 71k miles. We've had it for about 6 months, but have just recently started noticing the following clunk:
When coming to a stop there is a rather annoying clunk coming from what seems like the front suspension. It seems exacerbated by more abrupt stops and only clunks once when stopping.
With just that info, anyone have ideas on where to begin?

look at the brakes, suspension, steering wheel bearings and stuff and see whats missing or loose

Seriously if you are going to post tech stuff atleast have something informative to say. The last thread I looked at you had a post in it that made no sense either.
I have a 4Runner and I get a similar clunk one time while stopping, from things I have read people call it driveshaft wrap or something.
I can make it go away for a while by greasing all the zerk fittings on the driveshaft's joints front and rear.
My clunk normally happens as I let off the brakes and like you said if I stop faster it is worse.
Try greasing all your joints if you are able to.
Adding example I found...
