If you get a speeding ticket in another state while riding for speeding 10 over do you get points even if it was a different state... or do you just have to pay the fine and thats it

depends, only certain states interchange violations like that.
MD, VA and D.C. is the only set that come to mind for me though.

You should be good.
When I lived in NY I got pulled over in NJ and Mass. and got no points
But it does depend on the states. Where you have your license and where you got the ticket

^^ Dude I rode straight from Wisconsin to Colorado on a bike. I was way tired and never knew what state I was in, just what highway. Like I would go into a gas station and ask where I was.... Never doing that stupid thing again.

Nebraska and Colorado do not, so if it was there, it would just go to your insurance.
It won't show up on your insurance.

My ticket i got in CO last year (im from NE) shows on my insurance. Unless its different for CO residents in other states. Or i just had stupid Progressive and they are all knowing about tickets you get anywere.

So you couldn't see the highway signs? They tell you what state you're in dumbass.

No, im from Nebraska. I was over in Denver and got a ticket were it goes from 65 to 55 in the Westminster area. I know the ticket is on my insurance because when your policy renews with Progressive they send you a list of the tickets they have on record for how your premium is rated.
Well, it really depends on if it goes on your record at all. You only have one record, so if it is on there, insurance can see it. I've gotten a few photo tickets, and a speeding ticket in Wyoming and none of those showed up on my MVR.
