hey does anyone know if the obd2 connector doesnt work would they fail you on emission test because the obd2 connector dont work? the car came obd2 but was converted to obd1....

No, they wont fail you for that. I went to emissions many times with an OBD-1 ECU in my '97 Integra and they tried to connect to the computer every time, which failed of course, but they didn't say anything to me about it. The test results just say "ADVISE" under the OBD code section.

that is correct. if they cannot establish a connection, they just note it. they cannot fail you in co for that. in other states maybe.
