Okay....If you guys noticed in the pictures of my car, the front lip has a big wax mark on it. I've tried every cleaner known to man to remove it, but the plastic is permanently discolored. The only way I can cover it up is to apply plastic protectant, but it washes off every time it rains, or when I clean the car. It's a royal PITA to have to reapply that stuff to the whole front lip.

Anyway, I am thinking about simply replacing it since it is such an eyesore. I came across the new Rieger front lip for the US bumper, and wanted your impressions.

Do you think that would look good on my car the way it is? The lip is only $210, so it wouldn't be a major investment. The only thing I am concerned about is how low it is. I am worried that not only would it scrape possibly, but it might look out of place on my otherwise stock body. However, the car pictured doesn't have a bodykit, and it looks good, so I dunno.

My other thought was on trying to get the 337 front lip. What do you guys think?

I really like the reiger lip, it's better than the 337 one too.

I did the Joey mod on my car yesterday...taking the headlights are a beyaaaaatch!! It looks pretty cool tho. I didn't do the greatest job, but still looks better!

The Votex is still my favorite. It has the smoothest lines and best proportioned openings on the bottom.

Thanks for the input guys. Maybe I will look into getting that Rieger lip.

Same lip I've been looking at for a while now. I think it is the BEST lip on the market for the GTi. The only thing I'm worried about is what would happen during snow season. It may be a mod that is only summer friendly. After all, I didn't sign on to be a snow plow when I bought my GTi.

You could just sell your car and buy this:

Try using a compound, with a buffer. A buffer will take out all kinds of shit. Also, there are a couple of guys on here that I am sure would love to take that out for you (and $5 of course). Ask one of them. I think Blubyu is one of them.
