I just saw that ATP makes an intake and I wanted to see what kind of price you can get me. Its only $115 on their site with filter and only $65 without a filter.

Wow, those are inexpensive. I can do the 115.00 one for 105.00 and the other one for 65.00 instead of 69. Not a huge savings, but those are already pretty cheap.

They look good but i hear that metal intakes for 1.8t are not nearly as good as cf or plastic cause they get hot as hell...

a guy on the vortex said after spirited driving he got out and his intake was ice cold and hes compared it to others like the evo and they are both the same as far as he can tell. I mean when you have air moving that fast through the intake its gonna effect it very little. I could see it getting hot when sitting in trafic or something where no cool air is going through it.

I have a paypal account, you dont require a conformed address do you. I tryied to buy an intake a little while ago from velocity and they require a confirmed address which I couldnt do because my address at college is different then the address where my credit card bill goes.

I was looking at those pics in the Vortex thread. Doesn't it seem like the ATP kit puts the fiter up a bit higher than the other CAI's? That might be nice for the rain/snow situation out here. Can't beat the price either.
