That was the stupidest fucking interview I have ever watched.

Why?

1. Who is he interviewing? Retired CIA expert? Huh? What does he know that the rest of us don't?

2. His CIA expert says, "These are people who could afford a Mercedes, thats all we know so far." Then he goes onto emphasis again, "That's all we know so far."

Of course he doesnt know anything yet. British intelligence probably knows a whole hell of a lot more than what I know or you know. Why would the general public know anything about this?

3. 50 gallon tank of petrol surrounded by propane tanks with nails tied around them. The "expert" says it would ruin the interior of the Mercedes and give people ear damage.

I've seen a 3 gallon tank of gas go up into a 10 ft fireball. 50 gallons would blow the entire roof into metal shrapnel.

Here is a little hand held propane tank bottle that exploded:

I mean seriously. I understand that the interviewer hates bush and the war in iraq but that was completely awful.

When enclosed inside a car, the explosion is going to be quite a bit more limited... not only do you have a steel cage around the explosion, but you also have a much more limited supply of oxygen.

I'm pretty sure anyone near that car would have died or been severely injured.

I'd like to see their "expert" stand near that sort of explosion with a pair of headphones.

I was standing about 18 feet away when that 3 gallons of gas went up and I had to step back to keep from being burnt. With 50 gallons, I'm sure everyone in a 20 foot radius would be lit on fire.

He was part of the U.S. CIA, which makes him smarter, better, and more aware then any of us, duh.

The CIA does pretty good so I don't doubt he's an intelligent guy.

I'm sure they paid him to do the interview and said you're the expert so you better act like one.
