My new favorite anime!

I have been stuck on Initial D since it came out. I have watched 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th stages as well as extra stage, battle stage and even watched the stuff Tsuchiya did for the stage 4 after he took over. Like many dedicated Initial D fans I have been waiting patiently to see if there will be a 5th stage...who knows... I have found something equaly impressive so far.

I don't know If anyone knows about this yet but its the sizz-nit! Today while poking around a movie site I just found I ran accross a kind of Initial D on the highways in Tokyo, sort of like Tokyo Extreme Racer with a twist...The car acts like the 57 Plymouth in Steven King's Christine! The car mends itself no matter how much it gets wrecked. I have only seen the first one as I post this but I will be finding more of it for sure! The main car is an L28 S30 (280Z) with twin turbo! Very very cool, I thought I would share it with you guys.

Yeah, Initial D FTW! I watched it back in high school. I still watch it and never get bored of it. I highly doubt there will be a 5th stage. Don't take my word for it.

I would suggest all HAI members to watch it. If your into cars, this anime is a must. If you need help on where to find torrents and what not LMK.

I just found out that there is only 2 episodes available at this time for Wangan Midnight, there should be at least the 3rd one by 07/20/07 as the series just started. I watched both of the ones available and its going to be real hard having to wait to watch some more of this awesome show.

I do not like anime necessarily, just cars. But thanks for the tip! I have played the game many times, I have more fun drifting in the Ferrari game at Dave and Busters with the electronic aids off better. Try it sometime, its a blast!

I have just the thing for you. The link was the new one, Wangan Midnight and to the right of the screen is the second episode...the other 2 we have to wait till the 20th for some more Wangan.

I have found an easy way to catch Initial D however one episode after the other in order, but you have to create a login. If you like, there are episodes on youtube also.

The update for the new episodes is they are coming, but very slowly. Even in Japan. We have to wait even longer for this guy that goes by OMFG to translate and add the subs. There are rumors that there is another person/people that are trying to also get this translated. It will be here as soon as I find it! The word is that there was a manga for the series that kinda died out but they are trying to get it back to mainstream. They better hurry up! I will post the link for the manga prolly before the end of the night tonight.
