Ended up riding in the fucking hail for 4 miles until I was able to pull off. :(

dammm dawg... i had to ride one day that it was raining... i was all wet... cant imagine hail. Stay updated for my new bike

No, but the funny thing was is that I had been riding with a group of 3 guys on cruisers... and none of them were wearing gear. Two of them had fat lips. :D

By the time I was able to pull over and park most of the hail had stopped. But it was a pretty hefty mix of rain and ice. 4 miles is nothing, you are right. I've ridden the full 35 miles to work in the rain one morning without issue. But when you're not wearing leather pants, your knees + hail = oww.

And for that I was very, very glad. The only thing that hurt was my knees. Carbon fiber armored gloves, leather jacket, Sidi B2s, and helmet FTW!
