i have finally got enough cash to go out and buy B16 and trash the SOHC non-vtec. It should be here soon and doin the install my self, its comming with a type R ECU also. Nomw the 4 door will have a bigger and better heart and soul.

where are you buying your motor? I got mine from jspecjdm.net for $1020. When are you getting the motor?

the motor is costing around $2000. im ordered it through streetimports.com

$1020 for a b16a????? please tell me that is just the motor, not the entire swap (axles, ecu, tranny, etc...)

lol, damn datsuns! Mines gonna cost me 650, but thats cuz i drive the er33t volvo :p and the only thing cheap on them is engines, everything else costs and arm and a leg, anyhoo, congrats on engine swap coming up, youll love it! I love Violators swap and its not even my car, makes me giddy still, hehe

sleeper: $150 for a longblock?! DANG... My ex had a 78 280Z that she blew the motor on because she didn't fill it with oil and so it sat at a place in the springs for months, because they told her it would be over a grand... her not making much at the time was like out of the question... didn't even think to check out the Internet or anything to see if we could replace the motor ourselves or find some people who could. Well while it was sitting there, some people tried to steal it a couple of time :rofl: yeah, steal a car with a dead motor and a dead battery. Finally we don't know where it went, just disappeared... not sure if she ever found out about what happened to it, but she was a STUPID hoe.
