View Full Version : Tomorrow is the Server move 9/12

I just put i nthe DNS server change request which should take about 24 hours. I will move hai, haiparts, and sportcom to the new server tomorrow. All should go fairly smoothly. HAI is my first priority so it will be the first to go online. I will disbatch an e-mail to everyone with a temporary link to the site tomorrow since the domain name will not work for most of the day. I now have a server for each site so highaltitudeimports will no longer show up as haiparts.....

Took longer than expected, but the server is blazing fast on my end. Hopefully you guys notice a difference as well.

oh, just a few hours :p

Computers are like that sometimes tho... actually lots of things, take twice as long or longer to get going right again. :smashfrea

Man it sucked..... I ended up having to wait because I couldn't upload the database for this site using phpmyadmin because it was too big. I tried telnet but couldn't use that either. I ended up having to upload it to the site and have the admin load it. Took 4 hours to upload even with my cable connection :(
