For sure, I was going to mention that on my last post. You'll love how it handles once you do it. Since you're not going to race it, except for around town, I recommend the Eibach Pro-kit springs. I love mine and they have a great reputation. :Beer:

Here would be my advice to myself if I were in your position- If I bought a new RSX Type S? I'd do more looks stuff intitially, speed things tend to get me into trouble which I don't need. Plus the faster you think your car is, the harder you drive it = shortening of car life. I'd say yeah, go with the drop and the tastefull 17" wheels. If you really want speed that bad-- don't mess around, get a turbo. Trust me, I've been through 5 different engine set-ups already. If you want speed, Intake/Header/Exhaust will cost you around $1200 MSRP. Take that $1200, save it, and invest in a turbo kit. It will make your car MUCH quicker than I/H/E will, or quicker than any nautrally aspirated set-up ever will, even if you were to spend the $3000 for the turbo on all N/A things like cams and valvetrain.

But anyway, sorry for the lecture, welcome to HAI. I'm Chris. Nice to meet you.

(Not AcuraBro fast but fast;)) If you have the sack, NOS is a cheap way to go that wont wear on the motor unless you want it to. There are not many turbo kits our for the RSX yet but Im working on one this winter that should be very powerful.

haha, thanks. Yeah, I built the motor myself in my garage w/ hand tools. Yeah, the more drastic it gets, the more $$$ is required. Wow, where to start with an RSX. I don't know if you really want my opinion, because that will usuially end up costing too much money. I'm one of those "go hard or go home" type people, so I'd say don't waste your money on stuff like intakes and headers. Exhaust could be a good idea, you can't go wrong w/ suspension and wheels either.

Hello all, if anyone reads this any more!
I have decided to sell my Honda Accord. It is a 1991 LX 4 door. White with blue interior in perfect condition. 5 speed transmittion. It has 112K(not bad for a Honda). It has 16" Einki wheels and Nitto 205/45 tires. It has been lowered with GT adjustable coil overs, so it sits lower then is should, about 3 inches of clearance. I really haven't done anything to the motor, just maintenance. It was suppose to be my "Mommy" car. I did just reciently put Exhaust on it. A Tenzo R 4" single pipe. It is loud.. I know what you are thinking, Ricer!!!! It is, kinda, I admit it.. It is quick if you know how to drive it though... Ok so this is what I am thinking... If I sell this car I want to to get about $5,000.00 for it or I don't want to sell it. First, what do you all think? Too much? Second, anyone want it, or do you know anyone that would want it?

I am in the same boat with selling my hearse. I want to get atleast 3,000 for it because of what it means to me but I don't know what it's really worth or how much anyone would pay for it. I say ask what you think it's worth, if someone else wants it bad enough they will pay it. Blue book values are the devil! :p

Hoboken is like an hour or so, I'm by PA, I'm in the boonies, but I like to drive and it's nice where I am. I won't be here much longer, school is up in December, then I'm moving. I'm definitely going to take a trip to CO in the next couple of months. Jan or Feb. Hoboken huh, ever been there??? More bars, etc. per square mile, I swear. I've actually only been there once, I lost my party groove when I started night school and working full time. Where in NY are you going? If you are going to be in the area a while, I can show ya around. Philly, NJ, whatever you want. Atlantic City is cool. Let me know, PM me if you want and I'll give you my stats so you can get in touch when you come. I live in Frenchtown, which is by Flemington. It's Hunterdon County which was not built up at all, until recently. It's far from a city, great for motorcycle riding, driving, lots of windy 50 mph roads, no town cops but the staties just moved in :( Thank god they don't know the back roads around here yet :)

Yeah I've been to Hoboken before. That was the only reason we went was for the bars. Supposedly Hoboken is the place to be these days. I'll be in Manhattan the weekend of March 7th to watch the Rangers play the Flyers. Are you a hockey fan? I'll PM you.

Hockey is the absolute best sport to watch in person, just because on TV you miss 1/2 the action as in person. I use to love the Rangers, then the Devils. However, of the last couple years I lost touch because I was just so busy. I don't go to Hoboken, city much because I like to drive when I go and my friend had a GSR Integra that was stolen 3x's there. First time, recovered before damage. Second time, no seats, wheels, everything was gone, but it was leased so everything was fixed. Third time, no such luck. Kinda scares me a little. Hondas, Toyotas are big targets in that area.

Nice! Yeah Rangers are my team, then the Avs, then the Leafs. Rangers/Flyers is the biggest rivalry in the NHL right now so I like to come out for those games. The last game I went to at Madison Square Garden ended in a 6-5 Ranger win over the Flyers. Best hockey game I have ever seen. I pm'd you too eh.

What kind of car are you driving now? Did you have the stripped out RSX with Nitro? What happened to your RSX? I love my car, but it lost so much value in one year. I want a little Civic to do some fun stuff with. The RSX is just too expensive... then to do work on it would just cost way too much more. I could do anything to a Civic. I really want a Rage Rover, but then I wouldn't be a racer chic anymore!

No..that was Chris with the stripped RSX..I dont think I had mine yet when I met you. I had a red Civic Si back in the day. I ended up getting a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution when I got out of the hospital..so I traded in the RSX. Now, I'm poor and cant really afford a car at all..however..being unemployed and being in debt to hospitals sucks! :)

The Lancer is a lot of fun..the AWD and turbo make for some yummy goodness on the streets and track. I ended up getting a really nasty infection that almost killed me a few times..spent 6 weeks in the hospital, and then lost my job because of it. (thats the really condensed version)

Excellent driver eh? Too bad you dont live a little closer I'd prolly take you up on that offer. :) Of course, if you ask woodrow, he'll prolly tell you I'm pretty scary..last time I was let out in public I think I bit someone and ended up in jail. ;)

Apparently. You are covered by the FMLA (family medical leave act) up to 90 days..after that they dont have to give you anything. With the 6 weeks in the hospital, and then a month of recovery time, they gave me my job back. (because it was like 85 days) Then, I had to have surgery on my ankle too..and that was really the straw that broke the camels back I think...they said they hired too many people, and because of the new company initatives..(aka cutting down the workforce) they didnt have a position for me anymore.

I've worked for Target for 8 years..and got laid off just like that. Gotta love corporate america. Ah well..I'm sure I'll find another job sooner or later..

However, the hospital bills are the things that are really scary..$480,000 after it was all said and done...plus the minor ankle scope, which was cheap by comparison. Glad I had insurance...even if I dont anymore. Bastids..

Hrmm..I can honestly say "been there, done that" then..if she wants any help I'm sure I could suggest some people to talk to. Is she a manager or some sort? Hourly? They are required by law to give you your job back if its less than 90 days..I'm sure they are just being stupid about it.

She is a level 3 and has been for a very long time. It isn't necessarily that she is losing her job but they are definitely acting like they are trying to push her out the door which I think is a bunch of BS. But according to what others have said it is happening to them as well. I don't know, I feel like they are picking on the sick and it drives me crazy. I think alot of it has to do with the Manager !!!!

Yeah..in that situation it would have a lot to do with the STL in the store. What store does she work at..if I know them I'd send them an e-mail and bitch them out just for fun. There has been a big issue with making the "headcount" numbers for Level 3s in all the stores, it sounds totally typical that they would use something like that as an excuse to make a number..regardless of how long you had been there. Next time you talk to her..tell her I'm sorry that we chose to work for an evil corporation. :p
