So my cousin want's to build this 1,000hp + Mustang. He want's this to be a street car. Here is our delima (sp?): With a 1000+ hp, aren't we looking at a full race clutch to support all the power? (assuming he goes with a T-56 six-speed tranny)That doesn't make for a very comfortable ride. He have to appalogize to his date all night long for making her spill her drink!!
Or would he be better off running a C-6 auto tranny. He wants to run the six-speed so he can still have a decent top end. Because the C-6 is a 3-speed. He figures that even with an aftermarket overdrive, four gears would not be a high enough top end. What do you guys think?
P.S. If you ask me, this is kinda like a "if I won the lotto," thing.
