I got the Ninja running well now. Having fun but it seems that the pressure on the clutch plates is a little soft. Is there anything that I can do? I am thinking of putting 1 more clutch plate and make it a lot stiffer. Is there other options? I have made the clutch lever as least taunt as posible. It is almost completly relaxed.

I fixed it. I was able to ride about 100 miles today and it did not slip.

You rode 100 miles today on a bike? Damn... sounds boring.

FYI - you cannot add clutch plates, doesn't work like that. Your clutch springs are getting weak, that's your whole problem, pretty common, it IS a wear item that needs to be replaced eventually. Buy a new clutch kit and PAY someone to put it in.

I feel honored, Tonnerre told me to fuck off.

I've seen bikes with 100 miles need a new clutch.

Well if you fuck the springs up in 100 miles that is you bad and you should not be on a bike. Unless you are racing, but still.

A simple misadjustment of the clutch cable, if it's cable actuated, can do that. Some people don't know that you have to have slack in the cable.

I took it down Erico motorsports and on of the people look at it. It is pretty clean and I got another helmet to repace mine. It is a Icon Alliance. It is silver and red.
