Naw, since I got the tank grips and the track is closing temporarily and got a few other buddies that want to get on there, gotta go to the track. It's like going to church now.

My goal is to get into the MRA and be semi-competitive by next year.... so I need all the seat time I can get.

You can have lots of fun at Red Rocks on the bike... trust me, some good turns. But yeah if you already made plans no worries.

Stomp Grips (http://www.stompdesign.com/stompgrip/press.asp)

Helps when you start hanging off the bike.

Looks like it's a good idea to have full leathers seeing that just about everyone out there had them on.

Yeah because once you start hanging off at full lean, you push your outside knee into the tank, the stomp grips keeps it in place, in turn let's you loosen your grip on the bars. Even letting you loosen your forearm which also sometimes lays against the side of the gas tank.

It's always a good idea to have full leathers on. They don't require it but definitely a good choice. Plus, most of us can't afford to go home missing a knee-cap. Once you get your knee down, there is a sense of stability. Wish I could explain the feeling but don't know how, you just have to do it.
