Why is this such a huge deal here in the US? In Mexico its about the equivalent a holiday as memorial day is here. Family BBQ's are about the extent of it there.

Family BBQ's are about the extent of it there.really, it's only a big deal in denver. i have friends/family in cali, NY, vegas and such, and they don't have to deal with half the shit we deal with on cinco de mayo
