So I was in a low speed collision in December '06. Some jack hole decided to turn left from the right hand lane in front of me when the streets were totally icy and slick. I hit him. It was his fault. Got a new bumper, front right quarter panel, passenger door skin, rear quarter panel. Everything is cool, car looks great. I have it back for what, 3 months? Some F'r bumps the EXACT same spot in a parking lot and jacks up my front bumper AGAIN. The damage is no where as bad as it was before, but the bumper cover is slightly out of alignment and looks a little jacked up on close inspection. The paint is scratched and chipped off a little. It's not the kind of thing you'd even notice unless looking closely. BUT IT PISSES ME OFF! :guns:

Try some Meguiar's Scratch X on it. No it won't put paint back where it's missing but it will help a lot with the smaller scratches and make the whole area look better.

Will that work on plastic? The bumper cover is scratched, not the metal.

Scratch X is formulated for paint, so if it is painted it may work. However, Scratch X is a very mild product intended for light marring. If you have very fine scratches on your bumper then by all means go ahead and use it, but in order for Scratch X to work be prepared to have your hands be crippled and purple the next day as Scratch X takes a lot of compassion for it to work.

Yeah, as long as the cover is painted it will work.
