wondering if anyone has any idea on how to's for tranny woes...
co-worker had his cousin trash his 1st gear and pilot shaft..
wondering if anyone had the "special" tools we could borrow, or any leads on a tranny/parts..
his quote was 2k to get it fixed from a local place..
thanks for any help in advance..

Jack who rebuilds DSM transmissions also does Subie Trans.

edit: He is in Colo Springs, and doesnt charge nearly that much for a Full Race Trans for a DSM

quoted him like 550.00 then hit em with "oh no it looks like about 2k in work" (1350 parts, 650 labor)

I've got some ties to Super Rupair, they're good guys. If it was older stuff, I'd do it for joo but I don't know much about anything past EJ22.
