Has anybody seen these going for good prices anywhere. I want the 97+ body style either black or red........blue if they made it.............5spd. Looking into these cars right now..........I want to swap in the DET motor for some better power. I'm a Honda sucker right now but am leaning towards a 240 as my next car.

dude, youve made a bad ass decision. I am a 240 freak. i own a 92 hatch and am bout to buy my second. start looking on ebay-iv seen alot of good fukn deals. you mite have to make pik up arrangements but you cant beat what some of them are goin for. the 95 body style i beleve is the same (s14). You mite find an older year to be cheaper, your guna do a swap anyways. I suggest s13 red top---more motor capability. write for any more suggestions, my name is tod.

I like the 97+ front ends compared to the 95-96. How well does the rear end hold up to more power.....any problems with the differentials?

I use to own a civic just sold it 3 weeks ago and now I have a
95 240sx. I go mine for $3200 and I already have the S15 Conversion on its way. You made an excellent choice. RWD!!!!!!!
That car is one of the best weight balanced vehicles out there.
I found a site that sells complete front clips or around $2200. There in Sacramento. After the conversion I'll be having that SR20DET in no time soon. The site is

If any of you Nissan guy out there ever want to all go out and grab a bite to eat some time. Just email me at www.kescalera99@att.net

Hi I'm posting under my brother's screename. I own a 91 fastback. The driveline for a 240 can with stand 400+ horsepower. There is a guy who has 450 on an SR. I am eventually going to swap in a CA18DET or a SR20DET. It's cool to see other 240s in the area.

Some other sites you might want to check out would be;

www.freshalloy.com
www.240sx.org
www.240sxforums.com

Hope those can help you out. BUt, beware, you are going to have more fun driving the car than you will looking at the headlights. Think about that, then spend your money.

Nissan's are badass...good choice, no one around here has a car that even resembles a silvia much less a 240sx (they're a bitch to find). Post pictures as soon as you get the kit.

;wor; SR20DET (turbocharged monsteR!)

Alot of guys on Freshalloy.com are making 400 horsepower on pump gas with the sr20. I just need to save up the money for the swap. 400hp + 2,700lbs = New Pants

nissan never imported the s-15 body style to America right? & they stopped importing the 240 in 97?

so is the s-15 front end conversion for the usdm s-14 body style?

i'm not to familiar with the nomenclature of teh 240sx's, so feel free to correct me.

They stopped making the us 240sx in 1998. The s-15 front end conversion can go on s-14(95-98) or s-13(89-94) I was thinking about getting it for my hatch or turning it into a sil-eighty after I get my sr.
