Yeah Saturday seems to be a work day for many, I guess it's why it is much less crowded that day there.......

would it be worth it to only go from 9am to 11 am? i gotta work at noon

Honestly for your first time maybe just to come check it out. If you get out there, by the time noon hits, you "might" be getting the lines of the track but will still be working into your "comfort zone".
In other words it'll be a tease and you'll end up calling into work since it's so much fun.

I might try to make it. If I go then I might just hang out since I don't have frame sliders, but you never know I might go out on track and just take it easy.

I will shake your hand if you go and have enough self control by just watching haha. But yeah, I totally understand, I wouldn't run there without frame sliders and if I did, the bike not going down would definitely be on my mind even more so than it already is..... Will be nice to meet you out there. Nice bike to BTW. I had an 04' cbr1000r, awesome bike.
I got my new tires so I will be there by 9am, probably will be taking it easy getting used to the different profile tires. Also, there will be some extremely track oriented knowledgeable people out there on Saturday, so come by and ask questions. I for sure will be picking their brains.

anyone riding from the Aurora/Centennial area?
I have a guy coming from aurora at a later time but if you want to meet up at 0830 off I-25 and 120th, lemme know. There a shell gas station we can top off right before going to the track on 120-huron.
Let me know if your coming that early.

sounds good to me. Is the Shell visible from the highway?

Is not... you have to north on i25 hit 120th... take 120th to the left... and the gas station should be on a street to your right... If you look right after you are on 120th you should be able to spot it.

Yeah just exit at 120th and turn left
Go down until Huron (1st major intersection) and turn right.
You will see the shell on your immediate left.
My number is 303-557-8013 in case something happens. I will wait until about 0840-0845 AM unless I get a phone call saying your running a bit later.

Well, had a busy turnout today. Mirror.....was nice meeting you, hopefully we will see you with the frame sliders out there soon.
Half way through the day a ducati went down but rider was fine. Ran wide and went down slowly in the dirt, broken turn signal and dirt scratches.
Later in the day had another fella pushing a bit too hard trying to pass someone through a turn and ending up applying too much power and spinning the rear tire then low siding. We thought he dislocate his shoulder but after going to the hospital, they think it may be a torn ACL. He has to go back on Monday and see his doctor and find out what to do.
Rest of the guys out there all learned something and got a bit quicker thorugh further improvements.

It actually wasn't the weather, we had just arranged this from a couple of forums. But there will probably be more going on Saturdays since Sunday have events or are much more crowded....
