Just as I roll into Phoenix this morning I go to flip the A/C on and nothing. It doesn't get the normal bog like it would normally when the A/C is flipped on. I pulled the fuses and they are good, the A/C came back on for a short while and every now and then it works. Any ideas what going on?

Prolly a leak causing the system to shut down. If the pressure drops below a certian point it will cease to work. Try un plugging the pressure sensor at the receiver drier on the drivers side next to the power steering resivoir, use a jumper to short the two connections in the wire harness side together. If the system turns "on" it is low on refrigerant. If not there is another problem either electircal or mechanical.

I agree, a\c is for wimps, and besides with a\c you can never suggest that she just takes some clothing off.

Hey in the fix-it manual I have, it says that if you open both doors, it will turn on the compressor. Try this and tell me if it works just out of curiosity.

The only problem I have had with my A/C is the tensioner pully falling out the car, has happened twice now already. What the hell is up with that?

All you need to do is get a metal bar from Home Depot and connect it to the walls of the car in the back seat above the windows. That way you will have a place to put all the extra shirts you will go through. Kinda hurts visability though.

Besides I kinda like feeling like I just came from the god damn swimming pool everywhere I go!!! Stupid A/C tensioner pully.

Seeing as the car is my daily driver I like having A/C, I put up with no A/C in my old truck for four years, and had enough of that. I don't have A/C in the Chevelle anymore, thats no big deal as the car gets at most 1000miles a year put on.

Any way i have come to the conclution that the charge is low for some reason, so when I have time I'll look into it further. Thanx for the help.
