Is there anyway to check the condition of the block besides tearing it down? I've done a leakdown & compression test. Anything else?

Clean it really well then drive it for a while and look for leaks.

Drop the oil pan and do a visual of the crank/rods/etc, and check for foreign material in the bottom of the pan.

I'll drop the oil pan on next motor change. Probably a good time to do my oil pan gasket too. Leakdown test resulted in a head gasket replacement, which I haven't gotten to yet.

Check the oil pickup for foreign objects, too.

What were the compression test results?

oil pickup?

#1 - 160
#2 - 125
#3 - 145
#4 - 160

It isn't doing anything. Just wanted to see a way to check its condition.

It's nice to see numbers more consistent than that. Was it warm when you measured?

Also, you can dump out the oil filter and see if there is any debris/metal flakes.

Yea, it was warm. I don't see debris during my oil changes.
