turbod and need to pass emisions

what do you guys think i can do i have a turbod d and am running chrome with 450s do i just take it and cross my fingers or disconnect a charge pipe any info will be greatly apreciated

You can pass with boost as long as you have a working catalytic convertor, and your narrow throttle map (ie idle, cruising, and light acceleration) keeps the A/F around 14.7:1. The primary O2 sensor will help with this, so it's best if it's hooked up and working. It's really helpful to also have a wideband to tell you where your A/F ratio is. Also, do what you can to prevent it from going rich when you let off of the throttle; that was the #1 cause of my emissions problems last year.

ok thanks for the advice i do have to get a cat welded on before i go and also i did not tune the car so should i just have the person that tuned the car help eith adjusting all of that stuff

i know that mac autosport can do an emissions tune on your car and you should pass!
